What is M5 Extreme?

 

M5 Extreme is a dietary supplement designed to stimulate the anabolic process of muscle growth. M5 Extreme’s cutting–edge formula introduces an innovative blend of pH-resistant creatine and creatine precursors, three nitric oxide precursors, growth hormone agonists, and insulin modulators to deliver muscular strength and size gains far beyond the results provided by any other product.

 

Creatine is a natural compound produced by the body when large amounts of energy are needed. Creatine is a type of energy storage compound known as a phosphagen; phosphagens meet the sudden demand for large amounts of ATP created by strenuous muscular work. Creatine is also a very hydrophilic molecule that elevates intra-muscular water content, and this elevation results in the increased volume of individual muscle cells and, therefore, increased overall muscle size.

 

Kre-Alkalyn is a buffered form of creatine that is resistant to pH change and, as a result, does not lead to the formation of the toxic by-product creatinine. Traditional creatine monohydrate supplements exhibit poor absorption due to their conversion to creatinine in the acidic gastric environment. Additionally, accumulation of creatinine is particularly taxing on the kidneys. Also in contrast to many other creatine products, Kre-Alkalyn does not require a loading phase or cause bloating.

 

Kre-Alkalyn is also superior to creatine malates and ethyl esters. Creatine malate is converted into creatine monohydrate when the mitochondria of the cells uncouple the malate bond from creatine during the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle. Ethyl ester forms of creatine are converted to creatine monohydrate after undergoing two ester cleavages by esterase enzymes. Because these heavily marketed forms of creatine still yield significant amounts of creatinine, they do not deliver results competitive with those of Kre-Alkalyn.

 

M5 Extreme also delivers the creatine precursors glycocyamine, guanidinopropionic acid, and betaine that contribute to increased endogenous levels of creatine.

 

In summary, the combination of a pH-resistant creatine (Kre-Alkalyn) with three efficient creatine precursors yields a supplement capable of generating the high levels of ATP required for intense muscular activity. The precise combination in M5 Extreme also greatly increases intra-muscular hydration levels and thus potentiates muscle growth.

 

M5 Extreme uses three nitric oxide precursors to increase individual muscle cell growth. Arginine-AKG, citrulline-malate, and ornithine-AKG each efficiently yield appropriate amounts of nitric oxide, but are absorbed at different rates creating a continuous-release effect. M5 Extreme also inhibits the effects of the arginase enzyme through the delivery of norvaline. Inhibition of the arginase enzyme limits arginine breakdown and increases endogenous levels of arginine, another phosphagen.

 

The immediate and then sustained production of nitric oxide induced by M5 Extreme causes blood vessel expansion and increases blood flow to muscles during intense training. This vasodilative effect increases the efficient delivery of not only oxygen, but also all essential vitamins, nutrients, and amino acids to the muscles. An abundance of these necessary elements within the muscle tissue significantly contributes to increased muscular strength and volume.

 

M5 Extreme effectively elicits natural growth hormone release, a typically difficult task. Two ingredients of M5 Extreme, picamilon (GABA-bound niacin) and oleamide, activate GABA receptors located on the same secretory brain cells that release growth hormone. GABA receptor activation results in the secretion of this potent, growth-inducing peptide into the circulation. Under the influence of growth hormone, the strengthening and recuperation of both muscle and connective joint tissues occurs at a much more rapid pace than under normal metabolic conditions.

 

M5 Extreme delivers oxovanadium and corosolic acid, two beneficial compounds that boost glycogenesis due to favorable effects on insulin levels. The hormone insulin is secreted by pancreatic cells in response to circulating levels of glucose, the product of dietary sugars. Insulin release stimulates the conversion of glucose to glycogen (glycogenesis), the form of stored energy within muscle tissue. When insulin levels are low, glucose is converted to stored energy in fat. M5 Extreme promotes glycogenesis by increasing insulin sensitivity and conditioning muscles for glycogen storage, and supplies the benefits of increased energy availability in the muscle tissue and decreased glucose storage in fat tissue.

 

Compounds containing vanadium have been shown to increase insulin sensitivity, and corosolic acid is a glycogen phosphorylase inhibitor that prevents the breakdown of stored glycogen. The greatest concern regarding the modification of insulin sensitivity is altered glucagon secretion. Glucagon is the chemical antagonist to insulin that promotes the storage of dietary sugars as fat. Glucagon also promotes the breakdown of glycogen into glucose and then into fat via an enzyme known as glycogen phosphorylase. Corosolic acid inhibits the action of glycogen phosphorylase reduing the negative effects of glucagon on muscle glycogen.

 

In summary, the combinatorial effects of oxovanadium and corosolic acid greatly enhance the body’s ability to produce and store glycogen in the muscles and to, therefore, maintain a greater supply of intra-muscular energy that results in immense muscular power and diminished fatigue.

 

M5 Extreme combines caffeine, taurine, and glucoronolactone to boost energy and intensify focus. Caffeine acts on two levels: 1) caffeine binds adenosine receptors in the brain, stimulating the release of the neurotransmitters norepinephrine, serotonin, and dopamine, and 2) caffeine reduces phosphodiesterase enzyme activity, increasing cellular ATP levels. Taurine and glucoronolactone also elevate energy levels by stimulating the breakdown of fats to ATP and enhancing the transportation of neurotransmitters released by caffeine.
